May 15th - September 30th

The Wild Side Trail is 11 km of beach, trail, and boardwalk providing an escape into the remote wilderness of Flores Island and Clayoquot Sound.  This trail has been used for thousands of years by the Ahousaht First Nations to connect the tiny First Nations village of Maaqtusiis to the beautiful sandy beach at Cow Bay.

After a relaxing boat ride, your expert guides will give you a better understanding of the natural and cultural history of the area .  Our guest carry only a bottle of water, a light but delicious snack and lunch, and any needed personal gear.  Safety equipment will be provided and carried by your guide.

Private excursions can be arranged for groups of 6 or more.
