The intertidal zone is filled with curious creatures that have adapted to survival in harsh conditions. Jewel-toned anemones, sea stars, crab, spiny urchin, snails, tube worms and jelly fish are among the dozens of fascinating sea critters that make their homes in tidal pools.
This 2 to 2.5 hour excursion includes a short hike along the shoreline to one of the best tidal pools on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Here you will observe the fascinating life of the marine plants and animals who share this environment.
Private excursions can be arranged for groups of 4 or more.
