September - April
This tour starts at Ucluth Beach an oasis just outside of the small town of Ucluelet on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Following the shoreline to the entrance of an ancient forest, you will stand amongst a grove of old growth spruce, cedar and hemlock trees. After a short walk the full force of the ocean swell slamming into the rocks can be heard. The vibrations from the blow hole can be felt hundreds of feet away.
Expert guides will escort and interpret the natural and cultural history of the area . Our guest carry only a bottle of water, a light but delicious snack, and any needed personal gear. Safety equipment will be provided and carried by your guide.
Private excursions can be arranged for groups of 4 or more.
