Itinerary for the 3-Day Wilderness Lodge Based Kayaking Tour

Day 1

Meet at 200 Hemlock Street at the Small Craft Harbour. Your expert guide will brief you on a water taxi to the Broken Group Islands while you take in the breathtaking beauty of the coastline along the way. We will be dropped at one of the many sandy beaches within the Broken Group. From here, you’ll have a kayak orientation to prepare you for your first paddle of this tour.

The itinerary of the tour will be based on group ability and weather, aiming to paddle 4-6 hours a day with plenty of time for spending quality time exploring and learning. Our philosophy is to make our guests experience as comfortable and fun as possible.

At noon, we’ll stop for our first lunch break where your guide will prepare you a delicious meal. Following this, we’ll continue to paddle the park.

Upon arrival at our strategically-located lodge just north of the Broken Group Islands, you'll be greeted by the comfort of your own room.

Dinner will be served at 6pm. Our friendly staff will ensure that your meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are a delightful culinary experience, leaving you fully satisfied and ready for the next day's adventures.

Days 2

Enjoy a full day of guided paddling with lunch on a beautiful beach within the islands, with plenty of opportunity to discover the vast intertidal life, old-growth forests, and learn from the ancient First Nation Village sites located within the Broken Group.

You will paddle back to the Lodge where dinner will be served at 6pm.  There will be plenty of time to enjoy a hot tub with views over the ocean and to relax in comfort before your final day of paddling.

Day 3

There will be a full day of paddling before being picked up by boat around 3pm for the journey back to our base in Ucluelet to arrive by 4-4:30pm.

Before bidding farewell and commencing your journey back home, seize the opportunity to share your cherished photos with fellow group members.

This extraordinary experience with Hello Nature Adventure Tours will create lasting memories of the unparalleled beauty and exhilaration found within the Broken Group Islands.

Trip Advisor Review, August 2019

Spent 5 days kayaking the broken islands. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. Phil was awesome. Seen lots of wildlife and even a humpback whale! Amazing views every day. We got all the kayaking in that we wanted with some nice downtime to relax and unwind on different islands, while Phil was hard at work making us comfortable and making 3 meals a day. All our meals were very tasty as well. Can't recommend this company enough. Great experience, bucket list type trip.
